Large-scale operation in Zeltingen
New construction of a second sluice chamber with tandem hoisting using an AC 250 (250t) and an AC 200 (200t). A 47-t radial lock gate was lifted into the 14-m-wide chamber for the new header sluice.
It is the first radial lock gate ever to be used in a Moselle sluice. The cranes were equipped with 74.4t (AC 250) and 69t (AC 200) counterweights. The gate's dimensions are 14.02m in length, 5.74m in width, 2.26m in height.
