Deployment of a crane on 2002/07/16 in Hoppstädten near Birkenfeld
A Demag AC 650 equipped with 100 t of counter weight and 24 m derricking jib, as well as a Leibherr LTM 1300 and 112.5 t of counter weights were used together to raise a 125-t boiler and subsequently lift it with a 14 m boom over a 16.5-m high wall and lowered 5 m behind it.
The horizontal length of the boiler is 19.5 m, it is 6.5 m wide and 5.8 m high. During the exercise both cranes were equipped with 6.1-m long stand-offs.
